Step 7

No swim aids for testing

  1. Perform a forward roll
  2. Using a good stroke swim 25 metres
  3. Achieve horizontal position on back using both arms and legs to swim 10 metres showing correct technique
  4. Push and glide on front with arms extended, face in water and stable position for 5 metres
  5. Swim 15 metres using correct breast stroke technique
  6. Using a float demonstrate simultaneous breast stroke leg action with feet turned out over 10 metres
  7. Tread water for 10 seconds
  8. Perform a dolphin kick for 10 metres
  9. Retrieve object from bottom of pool in water deeper than standing depth
  10. Achieve 10 metres front crawl including correct breathing to the side
